On Sunday, November 3rd outdoor schools around the country are participating in a Lantern Walk. Nature Together will also be participating in this event! Tinkergarten explains that a “Lantern walk is designated to help kids big and small welcome and see beauty in the darkness of the end of Daylight Savings time (aka “Fall Back)”.
If you’d like to join us on our lantern walk, meet us at the community garden before dusk (4:30 pm) with lanterns or flash lights and we will head into the woods for an evening stroll. If you have joined us on Walk in the Woods Wednesdays, then you know the route we will be taking. We will hike together, enjoy some cider at the clearing, then hike back out. This is a fun free event for the family!
